Accommodation
Accommodations can either be in hotels or in private apartments.During summer months, we need to look for accommodations a couple of months in advance. Hotel prices range from $30, $50 per day to up min $145 in five star Hyatt hotel.
A good accommodation option is apartments. The accommodations Habitat has made for those volunteers that requested them can best be described as minimalist, but clean. Habitat has
reserved apartments very conveniently located in the center of the city in
a large Soviet-era apartment building. Apartments are furnished, clean with full use of
kitchen facilities in case volunteers wish cook by themselves. Each
apartment has a telephone. There is one bathroom per apartment that has bath tube and shower facility, and
toilet.
Apartments can be found for $25/£14 a night (4-5 people). In apartments each
volunteer will have a bed. The classical apartment we rent has three bedrooms and is one bedroom has two
beds, one has one bed, and the living room has a pull out sofa and a pull
out chair. Some apartments have a washing machine, but volunteers can also use a laundry
service.

Outside. Keeping in line with classic Soviet architecture, the builders of this apartment
building made extensive use of prefabricated concrete.
Depending on the number of volunteers they are placed four or five people in apartments. Big groups stay in apartments of the same building
or next door buildings.
